Richard Sloggett talks to Shelagh Fogarty on LBC about improving our public health

Richard Sloggett, Founder and Programme Director of the Future Health Research Centre joined Shelagh Fogarty on LBC to discuss how to improve the nation’s public health after Covid. Richard talked about the need to move on from old left/right ideological positions on public health and move instead to tilt the balance in favour of better health over the longer term. They also discussed action on obesity and healthy high streets and the economic opportunities of health improvement.
